D.C. United's quiet offseason so far
Jan 2nd 2013, 19:33

RFK Stadium has been eerily quiet this winter and not just because the Military Bowl was poorly attended.

Kornheiser: Redskins will play five primetime games in 2013
Jan 2nd 2013, 19:10

As noted earlier this week, the Redskins-Cowboys Week 17 tilt was the NFL's highest-rated regular season primetime game in 15 years.

(Also, Sunday's local broadcast of "Redskins Postgame Live" on Comcast SportsNet earned a regular-season record 2.25 household rating in this market, equal to about 53,000 households. That's for a 90-minute postgame show, at 11:30 on a Sunday night, on a station that didn't even broadcast the game. And it did better than your average Wizards or Caps game.)

Alfred Morris's impact on Redskins' offense may be less than it seems
Jan 2nd 2013, 18:57

Alfred Morris's 1,613 rushing yards is the third highest total for a rookie in NFL history. It ranked second this year, behind only Adrian Peterson's amazing record-threatening total. By all conventional measures, Morris's season was a runaway success.
