Jack Hillen leaves Capitals season opener with injury Jan 20th 2013, 02:04 Capitals defenseman Jack Hillen left Saturday's season opener favoring his left shoulder after being propelled into the boards by a check from Tampa Bay captain Vincent Lecavalier. With 11 minutes 40 seconds elapsed in the second period, Lecavalier hit Hillen just below the goal line to the left of the Washington net. Hillen, who is listed at 5-10, 190 pounds, went flying into the end boards with his left shoulder taking the brunt of the impact.
