Local officials in France voice opposition to gay marriage
Dec 21st 2012, 11:51

BLERANCOURT, France—For Patrick Laplace, the mayor of this trim little town, the Socialist government's decision to legalize same-sex marriage in France is a colossal mistake.

So many things have happened in the more than 18 weeks he has been missing. We missed him terribly at the family gathering for the feast of Thanksgiving.
