Pope Francis visits the Knock Shrine, where faithful believe Virgin Mary appeared on a rainy night in 1879

Francis first went into the Apparition Chapel to pray and then addressed large crowds. He said he prayed for “all the victims of abuse" and begged "the Lord’s forgiveness for these sins."
