Days after we interviewed these former cops, Chinese authorities arrested two of them

Over the next few days, while we spent hours individually interviewing them in the squalid petition village where many now live, the others took shifts looking out for authorities on nearby street corners. And as we furtively moved from home to home – never lingering too long in one place -- this wide perimeter of lookout points moved with us.
